Thank you, RFKI, for all the help and support that you provided me during a really hard time in my life. I am a victim of domestic violence and a mother of 2 little girls and one boy, all under the age of 9, the youngest being a 3-month-old boy. I called RFKI because I was desperate for help. My husband took my purse with all documents, including my EBT card, when I left him. RFKI staff advocated for me to successfully navigate the system to acquire hotel vouchers and obtain a new EBT card, connect me with domestic violence shelters, and help me to obtain a new driver’s license.
